Not the other way around!⁠ ⁠ So important not to get caught up in external trappings or think we are less than bc we don’t look a certain way. ⁠ ⁠ Yoga is for everyone. It doesn’t matter what you look like, how flexible you are, the type of clothes you wear (or don’t wear). Some yoga practitioners in India went without clothes to be closer to divine. ⁠ ⁠ And - It’s easier to suppress people if they are told to shrink or diet rather than expand and express. ⁠ ⁠ It’s certainly easier to exploit and control a population if we feel a product will bring us peace and happiness rather than our inner being.⁠ ⁠ If you love leggings you do you, boo. This is not about shame, but context, analysis, information. A reminder not to feel less than.
