Full & Small Bust Adjustment - Pattern Emporium

Description

WHAT IS A FULL BUST ADJUSTMENT A full bust adjustment is where you manipulate the pattern to allow extra room for your bust, without reducing the pattern size overall. A small bust adjustment, reduces the bust room without reducing the pattern size overall. WHY NOT JUST SIZE UP (OR DOWN)? Sizing up will make the fit of your top or dress bigger on your whole body. A full bust adjustment will give you more room for your bust without making the armhole, shoulders or neckline bigger. HOW DO YOU DO A BUST ADJUSTMENT? The following full bust adjustment is designed for stretch fabrics with small adjustments only. This method can be used on other patterns without bodice or bust darts. For large bust adjustments or woven fabrics, this method is not suitable.   WATCH THE VIDEO: The pattern used here is
