Each set includes one pair of two straps.

This quick-release strap system replaces the default 2-piece cummerbund set that comes with the BAO Tactical Dynamic Plate Carrier. It is compatible with any plate carrier that has hook and loop fasteners in the appropriate spots on the front and back.

The Standard Side Strap System Set is a much more lightweight 4-point attachment system, useful in various scenarios:

Whenever less weight is desired for the carrier,
Where a snug fit provided by a full cummerbund is not required, or
When side plates are either not going to be used or are provided by other means, such as plate pocket pouches.

V3 Level IIIA Shooter's Cut Ballistic Panel

Certified NIJ Standard-0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.

The BAO Tactical V3 ballistic panel is thinner and lighter than the original BAO V2 plate backer, but with the same NIJ IIIA stopping power. This item can be used by itself as level IIIA protection or used as a hard armor plate backer. Some have even put the ballistic panels in front of steel level lll plates to help with spalling and ricochet.

Many others are selling similar panels for more money and have not had them tested by a NIJ certified lab so be careful who you buy from. These are a reputable brand, having undergone legitimate testing, and are a superb product all around.

The BAO Tactical L110 comes in multiple sizes, depending on your specific needs and is a perfect add-on to any vest for additional protection. Advanced UHMWPE design. Buoyant. Water repellent polyurethane coated 500 Denier CORDURA fabric finish. Made in the U.S.A. Special threat testing conducted in accordance with NIJ Standard 0101.06 (modified).

NIJ Standard 0108.01: Tested and verified to meet or exceed ballistic resistance as specified under NIJ Standard 0108.01.

Level III AR500 Steel Core Hard Armor Plate

BAO's steel plate measures approximately .25” thick (with base coat) with a weight of 7.875 lbs in a 10×12 shooter's cut configuration. These plates address law enforcement departments looking for an ASK (Active Shooter Kit) option and Fire/EMS departments looking for an affordable yet durable Level III compliant plate option, addressing threats as high as 7.62x51/.308 @ 2780 ft/s @ 15 meters. These plates offer a 20-year warranty.
